We have kept developing Turasistan since 2013. Across three major versions we renewed the interface and the infrastructure, and we redesigned the mobile app from scratch.
Whenever Hajj and Umrah procedures change, we update the system with them. On this page you will find Turasistan's three versions, the transformation of our mobile app and the development that is still under way.

Versions
Turasistan in three versions
Each major version was shaped by what agencies needed and by the technology of its time.

Modules

Turasistan v2: A new interface and deeper Hajj and Umrah workflows
With v2 we redesigned the interface and added the tracking and reports that Hajj and Umrah operations need.

See whether each customer was added through the registration form, the mobile reader, or a passport or ID.
Hajj and Umrah reports

Turasistan v3: Turasistan, redesigned
v3 is the most comprehensive renewal of Turasistan to date. We rebuilt the interface and the menu structure and moved the most frequent tasks onto the dashboard.

Online collections
Virtual POS collections, payment links, payments and payment logs one click away.
Simpler menu
Modules grouped under CRM, tourism, finance, visas, analytics and system.
Quick search
One search box for customers, tours and records.

Light and dark themes
A dark interface that is easy on the eyes during long working hours.
Turasistan Reader
Our mobile app took a leap too
Our passport-reading mobile app, Turasistan Reader, has changed completely since its first version.
Before
The app read passports and ID cards, showed the result on screen and sent the data to the system through capture, photo and transfer steps.
The old Turasistan Reader
Now
The app opens with the agency's name, address and phone number. The document is scanned with the camera, the biometric photo and data on the chip are verified via NFC, and the verified data is sent to the system with a single tap. Data is processed locally on the device.
The new Turasistan Reader document scanner
Scanning a document in the new app takes three steps
01
Scan the document
Point the camera at the passport or ID card.
02
Verify and edit
Check the extracted data and use NFC for the biometric photo.
03
Send
Send the verified data to the system.
Hajj and Umrah
When procedures change, Turasistan changes
Hajj and Umrah processes change often: Saudi Arabia's visa systems and the way Nusuk and Diyanet work are updated from time to time. Our team follows these changes and updates Turasistan to the new procedure, so agencies keep working from the same screens.
Umrah visa
Trobot transfers travelers to the Mutamer pool in Nusuk, and visa printouts are fetched from MOFA.
Tourist visa
Travelers are transferred to Saudi Arabia's tourist visa system.
Hajj visa
Traveler details are transferred to the Diyanet portal.
No installation needed. Turasistan App runs in the cloud, so you don't need to install anything for new versions; updates reach every agency at the same time.
